THIS IS A NEW PAGE FOR US AND I THINK YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO US TO RECOGNIZE AND SHOW GRATITUDE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE AND BUSINESSES THAT SUPPORT OUR VOLUNTEER-BASED ORGANIZATION.
OBS benefitted greatly from their participation in Bikes, Blues and Hot Rods Too.
First and foremost we would like to give a "Big ol' Bluesy Thanks" to Dan Allen, Brian Crowne and Majestic Concerts. Without their cooperation the Blues Day wouldn't have been such a success. Special thanks to the Arkansas Music Pavillion, or The AMP, as well. It is a great venue.

MAJESTIC CONCERTS and Dan Allen's GMS GROUP
Next, the OBS leadership would like to thank all the volunteers that showed up and worked tirelessly (I was there so I know, but I was not so tireless) in the background and foreground to pull off such a great event.
Kudos were passed around between OBS and the leadership of GMS Group & Majestic Concerts and this relationship may just lead to future events. GET READY, volunteers!
A very special thanks belongs to Bud Bond and the "instantly popular" chicken sandwiches he was cooking & selling to benefit the OBS. I know he was a tired pup when the cooker was finally cool on Saturday night.

Hey everybody -- We got a check today for $500 from the BP Fabric of America Fund, requested by the Aronowitz family. This is young Nathan Aronowitz's family, the guitar/keyboard/harp player we sent to IBC and have been featuring so much lately in our events. The dad, Eric, requested the donation from his employer, whose employees can request that BP send up to $500 to the employees' choice of non-profit.
